Optimal Forming Solutions

Optimal Forming Solutions has developed the FlexiMould technology. This is a new type of Rapid Manufacturing technique: from a 3D file a reconfigurable bed of pins is adjusted automatically. The pin-mould is used in combination with thermo-forming. In contrast to 3D printing and CNC milling, the FlexiMould technology uses (plastic) sheets as base material rather than powders and solid blocks. The FlexiMould technology combined with thermoforming enables a quick and efficient production method for small series and prototypes.
