Who are We

Optimal Forming Solutions (OFS) specializes in packaging processes of small series and custom made applications. Examples are custom made interiors for packaging as are prototyping applications. Next to these fields, medical applications are also being explored by OFS. All of these markets are served with our own FlexiMould, an adjustable mould. We are located at the Technical University in Eindhoven, a key shareholder in OFS, and the same place as where our FlexiMould patented technology was invented.

Activities

The FlexiMould

We work with partners in the industry. We simply sell or lease FlexiMould machines, with or without added value services. We help you to define the best FlexiMould system and machine set-up in terms of bed and pin sizes, setting speed, mobility, integration with your market, material options, and others.

Material research

Emperical and scientific material research is done to materials that potentially suit the FlexiMould Technology, namely thermo plastics, fiber, glass, composites, others. We test and research material characteristics like hardness, flexibility, environmental sustainability, stability under various circumstances, just mention it. We obviously work together with our colleague experts from the Polymer Department of the Technical University of Eindhoven, situated on the same corridor as the OFS University Office.
